About: 

The daughter of wealthy merchants, Ottoline was married at a young age to help secure her family's alliance with rival importers. It was an unhappy arrangement, which cut off a promising start to her studies at Tantervale's university. The couple had two sons before her husband's untimely death in his sleep. 

This probably has nothing to do with her early studies in the cultivation of toxic plants. 

Widowed a bit over a decade, Ottoline has taken a keen interest in the romantic arrangements of her friends, family, and influential strangers. A skilled hand at matchmaking turned from hobby into practice, and she now frequently brokers arrangements between the sons and daughters of Marcher elite. Though disenchanted with the idea of fairytale romance, she retains a strong belief in the importance of partnership. Otto loves love, even if she considers it quite separate from infatuation.

Conservative by Inquisition standards, Ottoline considers herself something of a radical: Willing to contravene Chantry law when it's entertaining, professionally interested (if horrified) in the prospect of mages being wedded off, and excited to help a bunch of bizarre subhuman heathens expand their diplomatic reach.

How? Strategic canoodling. Or at least, strategic nuptials. It's a charity thing. She's doing a service to the Maker, while seeing to some paying clients in the city. It doesn't hurt that her hot piece of ""Doctor"" ass is here defrauding people.

It's going to be a very scandalous adventure. She'll be establishing herself in Hightown with a servant, her younger son, and like six hundred exquisite white feathers.
